Mother Goose Comedy Revue

36 characters may be played by as few as 5 performers – 3M 2F.
One setting with lots of props and set pieces.
Imagine Carol Burnett as Mother Goose … that world-famous, fun-loving, energetic lady of old … who is now retired and living in Nursery Retirement Village. Here she has time to pursue her favorite hobbies - she's really "into sports." Now that she is permanently parked, Mother Goose has been getting letters from children all over the world who want to know how she got the ideas for her nursery rhymes.
Assisted by her gander, Sydney, the stage manager, she shows the children how she might have gotten those nursery rhyme ideas. She calls for audience participation to repeat the nursery rhymes. The kids in the audience especially love this part of the show.
In 9 fun-filled comedy sketches, including "Humpty Dumpty, the Daredevil Egg" and others equally as funny, Mother Goose skates, jogs and scuba-dives her way in the children's hearts.
